Bilal Abbas was interested in acting since his adolescence and entered in the industry by chance. Once his friend told him about a concerning audition of a TV serial and he went to try luck. He told that he went for audition without any practice. He got a chance and started his career on a little screen as a supporting part. He got formal acting training from NAPA.

Bilal Abbas is blessed with a very supporting family. He blessed with three Brothers and one elder Sister. Bilal occasionally shares his charming siblings on social media. Bilal has mor strong bounding with his younger brother and says that “he is my crime partner”. And said that he is more close with his sister apart from his mother. HIS Mother is a Fashion designer and father is DSP in karachi.

In 2017 drama serial O Rangreza provide much fame and in interview he express that it was a game changer drama for him. And in 2020 “Pyar Ke Sadqe “gave different percepective that he is multitalented actor.

He shared in another interview that he is not a romantic person. he understood and like the idea idea of romance but by nature not a romantic person.

Bilal Abbas has been nominated in more than six awards and won the first best on screen couple award in O Rangreza and in 2019 Best Actor award. Currently  the Dunk is a blockbuster  in which Bilal Khan is playing lead role.
